Dartford sweat on news of injury to Paul Goodacre

Dartford boss Tony Burman is anxiously awaiting news on injured defender Paul Goodacre.
The centre-half (pictured) limped off after only 19 minutes against Woking last week with damaged knee tendons and was due to have a scan this week.
Burman said: "Paul has seen a consultant but we are still waiting to find out the full extent of the injury. We expect him to be out for at least three weeks."
He moved quickly last week to sign Gillingham youngster Connor Essam on a one-month loan and the teenage defender impressed on his debut against Dorchester.
Essam, 19, has been with Gillingham since the age of 11 and joined the pro ranks last year. He has spent previous loan spells with Dover and Bishop’s Stortford.
Burman said: "Connor had a good game, considering he only met the rest of the squad on Thursday night and only had a light training session. He did well and will be with us for the next month."
