A key motorway route has been shut as emergency repair work halts traffic through the Dartford Tunnel.
The tunnel – next to the Queen Elizabeth II bridge – on the M25 was shut this morning for pot hole repairs.
This means the anti-clockwise stretch of the M25 between Junction 1A A206 (Dartford) to Junction 31 A1306 (Lakeside / Purfleet) is currently inaccessible to motorists.
No end time for the road works has yet been given.
