Dartford up to second in Blue Square Bet South after 4-1 win at Staines Town

Dartford climbed to second in Blue Square Bet South after coming from behind for the second straight game to win 4-1 at in-form Staines Town on Tuesday night.
Lee Burns headed just wide from a James Rogers cross early-on and Tom Bonner had a header from a corner blocked on the line before Staines grabbed the lead against the run of play with a header from Ali Chabaan from their first attack on 11 minutes.
Louis Wells kept the home side from doubling their lead and Jacob Erskine saw a header tipped over from a Jon Wallis free-kick before Bonner snatched the equaliser in the final minute of the first-half, bravely turning the ball over the line and getting hurt in the process.
After the break Erskine saw a shot through a crowd saved before Connor Essam (pictured) - in his final game before returning to Gillingham - put the Darts in front shortly before the hour, heading home another Wallis set-piece.
Wallis also played a part in the third goal 18 minutes from time when his shot was parried by Staines goalkeeper Rhys Evans only for Danny Harris to pounce and fire in the rebound.
Skipper Elliot Bradbrook saw a long-range effort saved by Evans before Adam Green put the gloss on the win with a deflected strike seven minutes from time.
The Darts are now adrift of leaders Woking by 11 points but do have two games in hand. They are also eight points ahead of the play-off chasing pack having played a game fewer.
