A busy road was shut in both directions after a multi-vehicle accident.

The collision on Princes Road, Dartford, at 1.30pm involved three cars and caused a partial obstruction westbound.

The road has since been reopened and the accident has been cleared.

Spokesman for the police, James Walker, said: "Officers have attended the scene, alongside crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service.

"At present no serious injuries have been reported."
