Drivers using one of the county’s busiest routes faced delays due to animals in the road.

The M25 clockwise entry slip at junction J1A, near the Dartford Crossing, was partially blocked.

National Highways said the situation was expected to clear between 5.45pm and 6pm, but it was announced at 5pm the animals had been rescued.
