Motorcyclist taken to hospital after crash on the A2 near Gravesend Tollgate Services

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital following a crash on the A2.
Emergency services were called following reports of a collision between a van and a motorbike near the Tollgate Services for Gravesend at around 6.40am.
Officers and ambulance crews attended and the motorcyclist was taken to hospital.
He is not believed to have suffered any serious injuries.
Highways England is reporting tailbacks between the A227 Wrotham Road and Pepperhill on the London-bound carriageway.
There were queues for several miles with current delays of 20 minutes.
The road was reopened at around 7.30am.
Meanwhile, there were problems for motorists trying to avoid the A2 after a second crash on the A226 Rochester Road.
It was partially blocked in both directions after two cars collided between Thong Lane and Chalk Road.
