Hundreds of square metres of grass land was ablaze last night.
Fire crews from Dartford, Gravesend, Swanley and Bexley along with an all-terrain vehicle were called to Dartford Heath at 8pm.
It took the four crews over two hours to put out the flames, which had been started deliberately.
Four separate fires had been started on the heath, which spread to create a burning plain, 150sqm by 250sqm.
Kent police has launched an investigation.
