Police issue image of man they want to speak to about robbery in Lowfield Street, Dartford

Officers investigating a robbery in Dartford have released an image of a man they would like to speak to.

The robbery happened on, Saturday, August 11, in Lowfield Street, Dartford, but details have only just been released by police.

The incident happened between 7.10am and 7.20am when the victim was on his way to work and cycled through a supermarket car park and saw two teenage boys and two girls sitting on a bench. One of the group called out to the cyclist as they passed.

He then turned onto Instone Road and then onto Lowfield Street in the direction of Hawley Road when the chain to the bicycle broke.

One the boys from the group approached the victim before punching him in the face and stealing the bike.

The victim fell over and was helped by a passer-by and the bike was then found on the floor nearby.
