M25 crash: Drivers faced 75 minute delays after crash near Dartford

Drivers faced long delays on the M25 after a crash between two lorries.

Three lanes were closed on the motorway between J1A282, for Swanscombe, and J1B for Dartford.

One person has been confirmed injured.

The collision happened in lanes two and three and drivers were told to expect delays of up to 75 minutes and eight miles of congestion.

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said: "One ambulance crew attended the scene following reports of a collision on the A282 at junction 1b shortly after 3.30pm.

"One patient, with injuries including an arm injury, was treated at the scene before being taken to Darent Valley Hospital."

The road was reopened at around 5.30pm.
