Delays after crash between car and lorry on Hill Rise, Darenth

Two people are receiving medical treatment in hospital following a crash between a car and lorry.
The collision, which happened on Hill Rise in Darenth at about 3.15pm, had snarled up traffic in the area, with several drivers taking to social media to warn commuters.
Both police, ambulance and fire crews were in attendance.
A spokesperson for the ambulance service said: “Both people were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital for further medical treatment.”
It is understood that no serious injuries have been reported.
Kent Fire and Rescue said: “Two fire engines attended but firefighting actions were not required.”
