Two men charged after Dartford and South Darenth robberies

Two men have been charged with robbery after cash and cigarettes were stolen during three raids.

It comes after shops in Dartford and South Darenth were targeted earlier this month.

Danny Collins, 32, and Daniel Ramsden, 43, were both arrested in Erith on Wednesday June 12 on suspicion of robbery.

Collins, of Larkswood Close, Erith, and Ramsden of Third Avenue, Eastchurch were later charged with robberies at shops in Colney Road, Dartford on Thursday June 6 and Esparto Way, South Darenth, on Wednesday June 12.

Collins faces a further charge of robbery at a shop in Colney Road on Thursday January 3.

The pair appeared at Medway Magistrates' Court on Friday June 14, where they were remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on Friday July 12.
