Traffic delays near Dartford Tunnel and Bluewater on M25

There were eight-mile queues near the Dartford Tunnel and Bluewater earlier this afternoon.
Long delays were reported on the M25 anti-clockwise before J1a A206 near the Dartford Tunnel.
There was congestion up to and past J3 for the M20 at the Swanley Interchange, and in both directions on the A2 to and from Bluewater.
To add to the delays, one of the Dartford tunnels was closed just after 1.30pm due to a broken down vehicle.
The right hand tunnel was shut for around half an hour, leaving the smaller left hand tunnel open.
It was taking drivers around 40 minutes to get through the delays.
Traffic has now returned to normal.
