A heavy emergency services presence has descended on Bluewater.
Police, fire and ambulance vehicles have been spotted at the Greenhithe shopping centre.
Officers have blocked off a road amid "concern for a person's welfare".
It is believed that services have been at the scene since 4.47pm.
Four ambulance vehicles have been sighted at the scene, with three parked at the bus station.
At least one more has been spotted along the section of road that has been closed off, alongside a number of police vehicles.
A single fire engine is also in attendance.
A police spokesman said: "Officers are currently in attendance at Bluewater after concerns were raised for a person’s welfare.
"No criminal offences have been reported".
A Kent Fire and Rescue Service spokesman added: "Kent Fire and Rescue Service were called at 16:47 to assist with a Kent Police-lead incident at Bluewater."
Ambulance services have also been contacted for comment.
