Dartford are 90 minutes away from a trip to Old Trafford or Anfield after reaching the second round of the FA Cup.

Tony Burman’s side have been drawn away to Football League giants Bradford City after beating local rivals Bromley 4-3 in front of more than 4,000 fans on Saturday.

The Bradford game will be played over the weekend of December 6 and a travelling army of hundreds – if not thousands – will head north to roar the Darts on in Yorkshire.

Dartford have banked £30,500 in prize money, plus gate receipts, during what is already their best FA Cup run for 30 years.

If they can pull off a giantkilling at Bradford, they’ll be through to the third round for the first time since the Second World War.

Premier League clubs enter the competition at that stage, so the Darts are now tantalisingly close to playing Manchester United, Chelsea or Liverpool in January.
