Family pay tribute to Paul Pratt who died in Darenth collision

The family of a man killed in a crash have paid tribute to everyone who attempted to save his life.
Husband, father and grandfather Paul Pratt, 69, from Dartford, died at the scene of the collision in Green Street Green Road, Lane End, Darenth at 5.15pm on Monday, January 22.
Mr Pratt was riding a Honda motorbike when it collided with a white Volkswagen Polo, and then a blue Ford Fiesta.
In a statement, his family said: “To everyone involved in helping to save Paul Pratt at the accident scene on Green Street Green Road.
“We appreciate everything all involved did to help try to save his life and would like to thank you all.
“From what we have been told you all did your very best and more to try and save him.
“We’re sure this is also a very difficult time for you all as it is for us and hope in time the pain will heal.”
Tributes and flowers were left at the scene of the tragedy.
One said: “Dad, no words, heartbroken and devastated.
“Love you forever, Elaine Paul and Denise.”
Another tribute said: “To my uncle Paul my heart breaks to say goodbye so soon.
“I always looked up to you.
“You will be deeply missed.
“Love you always, Daisy.”
Officers from Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit want to hear from anyone with information, or dashcam footage, who is yet to contact them.
The white Polo was travelling towards Green Street Green and Mr Pratt’s motorbike with travelling in the same direction.
The bike was then involved in a collision with a blue Ford Fiesta travelling in the opposite direction, towards Dartford.
