Fire destroys five acres of grass on Heath Lane, Dartford

An area of grassland, the size of three football pitches, has been destroyed by fire.
Firefighters used flexi packs and beaters to contain the grass fire in Heath Lane, Dartford, yesterday afternoon.
Seven fire engines attended the call which came just after 2.30pm.
They were at the scene for around an hour bringing the fire under control.
An area of five acres was destroyed by the fire.
