Fire fighters cut woman out of vehicle at Darent Valley Hospital

Emergency services had to cut a woman out of a vehicle, after she managed to drive it to an ambulance bay after being involved in a road collision.

Fire fighters were called to Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, at 4.22pm on Friday, December 1, after a driver was involved in a collision on the A2 in a private transport hospital vehicle.

The woman managed to drive the four by four Peugeot to an ambulance bay, where fire crews used hydraulic rescue equipment to release her.

After the incident she was passed into the care of South East Coast Ambulance Service.
