Fire fighters had to cut a woman out of a car after they were called to an incident on the A2 last night.
The emergency services were called at 6.50pm to a collision on the dual carriageway, near the Darenth Interchange, where they had to remove the driver's door.
The A2 was closed for around a hour while firefighters dealt with the minor shunt.
The incident aggravated the driver, of the car who got hit, pre-existing medical condition which meant she had to be taken out without bending her spine.
While Fire fighters removed the woman from the car, the third lane of the A2 was opened to allow traffic to pass.
The incident was over by 8pm.
