Nine acres of shrubland and standing corn on fire in Hawley

A fire spread across nearly 10 acres of shrubland and standing corn in Hawley, near Dartford, yesterday.
Fire crews were called out to Shirehall Road just before 7.40pm, where they discovered around 9.8acres of land on fire.
Crews had surrounded the blaze within the hour and manage to douse the flames before they spread further.
No injuries were reported and the fire was completely out by 9pm.
This is the third field fire Dartford has suffered this week, with the first coming on Monday.
