Firefighters tackled a large grass fire on Dartford Heath on Saturday afternoon.
A crew from the town were called to the heath at shortly after 5pm and found about 100 square metres of grass alight.
Firefighters used beater and water back-packs to fight the flames and spent about 45 minutes at the 314 acre site to making sure they were out.
Dartford Heath is an area of open heathland situated to the south-west of Dartford.
Two fire engines were sent to the scene and the cause of the fire is thought to have been accidental.
The heath is listed as a Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
