Firefighters spent almost an hour tackling a grass fire on Dartford Heath.
Two crews from Dartford station were called to the scene, just off Heath Lane, at 6pm last night.
An area of grassland, measuring about 200 square metres, was alight.
The crews used beaters and a hose reel to put the fire out.
They left the scene just before 7pm.
The cause of the fire is not known.
