Firefighters are still at the scene of a large hay bale blaze.
Six fire engines and a bulk water carrier were called to the incident in Crowhurst Lane, Ash, at around 7pm yesterday.
As of 10am today, only one fire engine remained and crews are using main jets to extinguish the flames.
Videos from the scene last night show a large mound of hay on fire with thick plumes of black smoke coming off it.
People living and working in the area are urged to keep their windows and doors closed due to the large amounts of smoke from the haystack.
A spokesperson for the Kent Fire and Rescue Service added: “Please share this information with any loved ones in the area who may not have access to the internet.”
