The Environment Agency has issued flood alerts for the River Medway and other parts of Kent after heavy rainfall on Sunday and overnight into Monday.
In Kent, there are flood warnings for the River Beult, from Pluckley and Bethersden to Hampstead Lock, and for parts of the River Darent in Dartford.
Flood watches, including parts of the Medway and Darent, have also been set up.
In Maidstone, the river has burst its banks leaving tow paths and riverside benches submerged in flood water.
