A former Kent footballer is looking to settle down as he joins this year’s Love Island.
Ronnie Vint, who previously played for Dartford Football Club, will be entering the Spanish villa next week.
He told ITV2: “I have always thought about Love Island but now I am 27 it feels like the right age for me to be serious about finding someone and settling down.
“I have had two serious relationships in the past but more recently have enjoyed being single and doing my own thing as I have been focussed on my football career.
“I have got to the age where I want to find the right person I can build a life with.”
The defender is no stranger to the villa as he is good friends with former islander Olivia Attwood and was best man at her wedding to former Gillingham FC player Bradley Dack.
He added: “Bradley Dack is my best friend and he and Olivia are a big part of my life.
“I call Olivia my big little sister, she always looks out for me.”
Ronnie is not the first person with links to Kent to enter the Love Island villa.
Last year, Ashford dancer Ella Barnes and project manager Sammy Root appeared on the hit reality dating show.
Sammy, thought to be from Dartford, even went on to be crowned winner with then-partner Jess Harding.
Love Island returns on Monday, June 3 at 9pm on ITV1, ITV2, ITVX and STV.
