Drivers were left facing lengthy queues of up to an hour at the Dartford Tunnel this afternoon after an accident forced the closure of two lanes.
Kent Police were called to the A282 anti-clockwise approach to the Dartford crossing shortly before 2pm after reports of a three-car pile-up.
Two people were reported to have minor injuries.
The eastern tunnel was closed for a short time, although motorists were advised to allow extra time for travel while the four miles of queuing traffic cleared.
