Teenager Hayley Day will live out many a young girl’s dream when she competes in an international beauty pageant at Disneyland.

The 14-year-old, who lives with her mother Emma in Mayplace Avenue, Dartford, has already picked up two awards at the England finals of the Face of the Globe pageant in Hastings.

She won Miss Publicity for her work in raising awareness of the pageant, which raises money for the Rainbow Child Foundation, and Miss Personality, for her good character.

Hayley has already raised almost £700 for the foundation, which helps underprivileged children all over the world with cake sales, sponsored walks and a sponsored silence.

The pageant’s international finals take place in the shadow of Sleeping Beauty’s castle at Disneyland Paris next year.
