High winds lashing Kent have led to disruption on the roads and rails.
A severe weather warning has been issued for strong winds in Kent, which is in place from 10am to 10pm.
Earlier, the rail line covering areas including Medway, Faversham and Ramsgate was shut after a tree fell down.
A stretch of the A20 at Dover, between the York Street junction and the B2011 junction at Courtwood, is also closed due to high winds.
Highways England said that the weather conditions meant that workers were unable to remove equipment following overnight roadworks closures.
Meanwhile, Southeastern said a fallen tree on the track near Sole Street station prevented trains getting to London from Medway and stations in east Kent including Faversham and Ramsgate.
It's been cleared, but it meant trains were not able to get to London Victoria this morning.
Southeastern advised passengers to check its website and social media pages for up to date information.
Elsewhere, on the A2 Watling Street in Chatham, strong winds brought scaffolding down.
Another tree fell on the line at Dartford early this morning, but has now been removed.
Meanwhile there are delays on the ferries.
P&O tweeted: "Due to adverse weather conditions our sailings are subject to delays."
The Met Office, which has issued a yellow "be aware" warning for much of the country, says today will be windy, cool and cloudy, with occasional heavy spells of rain and a risk of thunder.
A spokesman said: "Strong to gale force west to northwesterly winds will affect many areas today.
"Gusts of 40 to 50 mph are likely with isolated gusts close to 60 mph possible over coasts, hills and locally inland where heavy showers occur.
"Expect some localised transport disruption with some trees perhaps uprooted. Large waves and spray will affect some coasts."
