Plans have been drawn up to convert a Grade II listed building from offices into six apartments.
Real estate company Vitesse Investments Limited has submitted its proposals for The Manor House, in New Ash Green, to Sevenoaks council in the hopes to bring it back to its original use.
The application is to convert the historic building in North Ash Road into residential use by creating six, one-bedroom dwellings.
It also proposes a new entrance porch, alterations to the windows, installation of rooflights and hard and soft landscaping.
In the design and access statement, the applicants said they aim to bring the building back in a "high quality and contemporary form to current modern standards".
They added this will be done "with minor additions and alterations that do not cause harm to the significance and special interest" to the building.
The report continued: "The design of the proposed development is of high quality, sensitive, sympathetic and enhances the setting and the significance of the listed building."
If approved, each flat would have a bedroom, kitchen, living and dining area and a bathroom.
A heritage statement was also submitted to the district council laying out the new owners intention to "conserve and repair historic fabric, and reverse much of the inappropriate works."
It read: "With careful design and planning, affordable flats or bedsit units are a good option for this building. This seems to be a more sustainable option to future proof the beneficial use and is more consistent with the housing needs in this immediate area.
"We feel that the most sustainable and appropriate use for The Manor is to make its residential status viable."
A decision on the application is expected by Thursday, March 30. You can view the plans here.
Last year, the period property was listed for auction with Clime Emson and was snapped up for £352,500.
The building was being used as a site office at the gateway to new apartment development Manor Gardens before it was sold.
