Seven disabled horse riders have returned home victorious from a national competition.
The competitors from the Arrow Riding for the Disabled Association (RDA) group, based on Darenth Park Avenue, Dartford, came away with four rosettes from the RDA National Championships.
They competed in eight classes in the three-day long event in Gloucestershire, including dressage and countryside challenge.
Group coach Holly McConnell said: “We have been doing a lot of preparation and training in the run up to the champs.
“We have a few riders that have not been here before that qualified for the first time this year.
“They said they never thought they would achieve this so it is fantastic for the group to receive the grant to help get them here to achieve their dreams and experience this atmosphere.”
The national championships is the biggest event of its kind this year, attracting more than 500 competitors from all over the UK.
