Three men in court after more than 500 cannabis plants found in Dartford property

Three men have been remanded in custody after officers discovered more than 500 cannabis plants at a property in Dartford.
The haul was unearthed on Sunday, September 25 when police found 539 plants in eight rooms inside the home.
Fatjon Dervishaj, 26, Martin Halilaj, 38, and Franceskpo Haxhihasanaj, 20, were all charged with producing cannabis after the discovery.
Dervishaj, of Station Approach, South Ruislip, Greater London, Halijaj, of no fixed address, but from the Dartford area and Haxhihasanaj, 20, of Abington Grove, Northampton, all appeared in the dock at Medway Magistrates Court on Monday, September 26.
The court heard prosecutors say the haul was thought to be worth between £172,000 and £269,000.
None of the three men entered a plea in relation to the charge against them and their cases were sent to Woolwich Crown Court to be dealt with.
The trio are next expected to appear there on Monday, October 24 and were remanded in custody until then.
