CCTV image released after man was assaulted in shop in Swanscombe

A CCTV image has been released after a man was left with serious facial injuries after an unprovoked attack as he queued in a shop.
It was reported the victim was queuing to buy a drink from the store in Swanscombe High Street at about 5.20pm on July 22 when a man cut in front of him.
When the victim mentioned there was a queue, he was punched in the head, causing him to fall.
The assault continued as the attacker repeatedly kicked, kneed and punched the victim while he was on the floor.
Police and ambulance crews attended and the victim was taken to hospital.
An investigation by North Kent Criminal Investigation Department is ongoing and has included forensic analysis and a review of potential CCTV evidence.
Officers are hoping to identify the man pictured.
