Singer sensation Mick Jagger is rolling back into action after undergoing heart surgery.

The Dartford-born rocker, and legendary frontman of the Rolling Stones, is returning to the stage in the USA after postponing gigs.

Back in March, doctors told the 75-year-old he would not be able to tour due to a damaged valve.

The group - whose hits include Satisfaction and Paint it Black - were forced to postpose the nine-week No Filter tour across Canada and America.

But tonight, Jagger will perform with his Rolling Stones band mates in Chicago, with a second show scheduled for Tuesday.

The dad-of-eight was a pupil at Wentworth Primary School in Dartford, where he met Keith Richards, before getting a place at Dartford Grammar School.
