Dartford: Former North Kent College student Amelia Peters joins Love Island
18:00, 29 June 2017
Former North Kent College pupil, Amelia Peters, will be entering the most talked about reality TV-show, Love Island, on tonight’s show.
The teenager only completed her college course in health and social care last week and has gone straight on the hunt for love.
Amelia will be one of the five new girls to cause a storm in the ITV2 show’s shock twist tonight.
The new islander already has quite a high social profile with nearly 7,000 followers on Instagram and is signed by Nevs Modelling Agency, according to her Facebook profile.
The reality TV show involves islanders coupling up and falling in love in the hope the nation will fall for them too and vote for them to win the £50,000 cash prize. Although producers hope the biggest prize of all is, of course, love.
The insta-famous teen, who previously studied at Wilmington Grammar School for Girls, Dartford, will get the opportunity to find love with any of the five existing islanders in a new villa that will be introduced in today’s show.
Amelia will test the loyalties of existing couples in her quest to sweep a lucky man off his feet.
Ex-islander and Margate footballer, Mike Thalassitis, entered the Mediterranean villa last week but was dumped before finding his match. Although since his exit, rumours have swelled and him and islander Jess Shears have been the talk of the town.
To see Dartford star Amelia turn some heads tune into ITV2 at 9pm tonight.
