Colonel Sanders is looking to expand his finger-licking chicken stores with new KFC openings planned across Kent.
The fast food giant is on the look out for more than 500 places in the UK where it can open either drive-thru venues, food court counters, or restaurants.
Of these at least 11 are planned to open as drive thrus in Kent.
These include Aylesham, Ashford South, Canterbury West, Chatham South, Deal, Faversham, Folkestone, Gravesend, Maidstone West, Medway Tunnel, and Swanscombe.
The Kentucky-based company is looking for various formats including stand alone sites, existing conversions and units with capacity for drive thru lanes and at least 20 car parking spaces.
KFC was first introduced to the UK in 1965 with its first branch opening in Preston.
Today it operates 850 outlets across the country with plans to have more than 1,000 restaurants in the UK and Ireland by 2020.
The roll-out announcement comes as a decision is expected in the new few weeks on whether to demolish part of an oast house in Snodland to build a KFC drive-thru.
Snodland residents were up in arms over proposals to bring the fast food chain to Hollow Lane with signs posted both for and against.
