Mum from Dartford wins kmfm’s Thousand Pound Friday cash prize
19:54, 23 February 2024
A lucky kmfm listener is going into the weekend with a £1,000 cash prize win.
The Kent radio station's monthly competition 'Thousand Pound Friday' sees listeners enter via text and online to win the prize.
Entries start at 6pm on Thursday and 24-hours later one Kent person is chosen at random.
kmfm Drivetime presenter Numi surprised Candy Isles from Dartford with a call at 6pm this evening.
Her husband and children were unaware that Candy had won the competition and discovered she had as they were sat in traffic in Dartford on their way home.
The mum of two, who has just welcomed a puppy called Rusty, a 17-week-old Kooikerhoindje, into the family, says she will book a dog friendly holiday with the prize money.
Candy said: "You have no idea how much this means to us as a family - we listen everyday."
The winning continues on kmfm from next week as they launch their brand new competition Who’s Got the Cash on Monday at 9am.
