Motorists were stuck in traffic on the A2 today following a crash.

Police were called to reports of a collision in Bean at 12.57pm.

Officers attended the scene and a man was taken to hospital.

The road was closed but lanes 2,3 and 4 were reopened at 1.17pm.

All lanes are now open.
