Almost £10,000 has been handed over to ellenor by fundraisers.
Members of the Swanley & North Downs Lions Club presented the charity with a donation of £9,300.
Club secretary Colin McRobert said: “The money was raised at various fund-raising events throughout the year including the annual bluebell walk, a charity golf day and the ever-popular bike around Brands cycling event in August.
“It was the second sum given by the club in the past 12 months.”
The donation was handed over to the chief executive of ellenor, Claire Cardy, and Linda Trew, the director of income generation, by Lions president Bryan Harris, and Mr McRobert.
The charity is recognised as an expert in caring for people with palliative care needs and for those who are dying.
Its focus is enabling people to be cared for and die in their own homes or in nursing homes with care supported and coordinated by specialist teams.
It is also a major provider of children’s hospice care and respite care for babies, children and young adults with palliative and life-threatening care needs.
