A lorry crashed on the M20 and split diesel over the road last night.
A fire crew from Dartford was called out at 11.30pm to Junction 1 of the motorway, at Swanley, after the HGV crashed and its fuel tank split open.
The road was temporarily closed while the Environment Agency and Kent Highways, alongside the firefighters, stopped the leak and cleared up the spillage.
They left within an hour and the road has been reopened.
