A crash blocked the M25 after the incident forced the carriageway to be partially closed.

Emergency services were called after the collision on the clockwise carriageway between J4 for Bromley and J5 for Sevenoaks at about 10am.

Police and traffic officers from National Highways arrived at the scene.

It is not yet known how serious the crash is and whether anyone has been injured.

The road was closed and all traffic held but shortly before 10.40am the road had been reopened to all vehicles.

Drivers are warned the delays are likely to last for about 30 minutes while the scene is cleared and made safe.
