Dartford dropped valuable points in their chase for the title in Blue Square Bet South with a draw at Maidenhead on Tuesday.

The Darts played the whole of the second half against 10 men but were unable to get the vital three points they needed.

A win for leaders Woking leaves them now eight points clear at the top of the table, although Tony Burman's side do have a game in hand.

Alex Wall gave the home side the lead with 13 minutes gone, with a deflected effort, but the game was level just before the half-hour when Jon Wallis' cross was guided home by Danny Harris (pictured).

Maidenhead had a man sent off after Darts keeper Louis Wells was shoved in the face by Reece Tison-Lascaris.

A bad challenge in the second half left Richard Graham down with an ankle injury and he had to be replaced. Checks later revealed there was no break, but the player is doubtful for this weekend.

Dartford pressed for the winner, hitting the bar on one occasion, but couldn't get the vital second goal and had to settle for just a point.
