A man and a teenager have been arrested in connection with the supply of drugs after their car failed to stop for patrols.
Police officers were in Shepherds Lane, Swanley, at around 1am on Sunday, March 17, when a car travelling towards the A2 came to their attention.
They were joined by a patrol from the Roads Policing Unit and despite requesting the vehicle to stop, it failed to until it collided with a hedge in St Mary’s Road.
A quantity of cannabis, cash and mobile phones were seized from inside the car.
A 22-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy, both from Sidcup, were arrested on suspicion of possession of cannabis with intent to supply.
The man was also arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, driving whilst unfit through drugs, failing to stop for police and driving without insurance.
At a later search at an address in Sidcup, officers seized a further amount of cannabis along with some scales.
Both have been released pending further investigations.
