Dartford: 23-year-old man arrested on suspicion of vehicle theft following police and helicopter search

A man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing a vehicle this afternoon following a police and helicopter search.
Police received a report just before 4pm stating two men had been seen leaving a vehicle, believed to be stolen, in Ashmore Close, Dartford.
Officers attended and an area search took place.
They were assisted by the National Police Air Service.
At 4.39pm, a 23-year-old man from Erith was arrested on suspicion of theft of motor vehicle.
He has been taken into custody.
Enquiries to locate the other man remain ongoing.
