A man who climbed onto the roof of a nursery has been charged with causing criminal damage.
The building, in St Mary's Road, Swanley, was forced to go into lockdown last Thursday.
Officers were called at 1pm to reports that a man and a woman were on the roof, but were able to talk the woman down to safety.
The man initially refused to come down, and a road had to be closed while police remained at the scene.
He was eventually removed from the building at around 6.30pm, after more than five hours of disruption.
Troy Clark, 21, of no fixed address, has been charged with causing criminal damage to property and an assault, alleged to have happened the same day.
He is due to appear before Maidstone Magistrates' Court on Friday, July 20.
