Man charged after attempted robbery at SK Store, Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe

A man has been charged after someone tried to rob a shop armed with a knife.
SK Stores in Swanscombe Street, Swanscombe , was targeted at around 9.50am last Wednesday.
The offender threatened someone inside with a knife, demanded cash but then fled empty-handed.
Following inquiries by the Chief Constable’s Crime Squad, Caine Borrow was arrested on Monday.
The 29-year-old, of Keary Road, Swanscombe, has now been charged with attempted robbery, assault and possessing an offensive weapon in a public place.
He appeared before Medway Magistrates’ Court yesterday (Tuesday) and was remanded in custody to appear at Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday, November 10.
