Man dies after being hit by lorry on A20 in Farningham

A man in his 50s has died after being hit by a lorry.
The incident happened at 4.28am on the A20 in Farningham.
The driver of the lorry, a man in his 40s, was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is currently in custody.
The road reopened at about 3.30pm and officers are asking for witnesses or people with dashcam footage to contact them.
There is still a police corden in place from the corner of Scratchers Lane and cars an officer is diverting traffic.
Cherise Armstrong turned up for work at the roadside Burger Grill this morning after the incident had happened.
She said: "I got here about 8am this morning. The road was already closed by then."
