A man has been remanded in custody after he was charged with breaking into two homes.
Massa Oyegbalo, 27, was charged with one count of burglary and one of attempted burglary after police said two homes were targeted in Eynsford.
Officers were called at about 1pm on Wednesday, September 5, to reports of suspicious activity in Eynsford Rise, involving a man who appeared to be delivering leaflets in the area.
It was alleged jewellery had been stolen from one property and attempts had been made to break into another home in the road.
The man was seen to board a train at Eynsford Railway Station and at around 1.10pm and Oyegbalo was arrested at the next stop in Swanley, just minutes later.
Oyegbalo, of no fixed address, appeared before magistrates in Medway, on Friday, September 7 and didn't enter any pleas in relation to the charges.
The cases against him were sent to Maidstone Crown Court to be dealt with and he is next due to appear there on Friday, October 5.
