The Creation Lab – established in 2010 – is a highly innovative digital marketing agency, specialising in bespoke digital strategy packages.

These include anything from website design and development and video production, including interactive videos, to virtual flipbooks.

Founder Matt Soper, who has buckets of experience in the creative industry, has worked with the Financial Times online, Nickelodeon, Capital Disney and Heart radio before starting The Creation Lab in early 2010. His passion for creativity has been integral in The Creation Lab’s success.

There are 11 equally enthusiastic, creative colleagues based at the firm’s headquarters at The Nucleus, Dartford, and although they have created some websites for companies’ overseas branches in the past, they mainly love working with local firms and, as such, the vast majority of their clients are based in the UK.

Being community-minded, the company holds monthly seminars in Dartford and London. These events are free and an opportunity for firms to get advice on how to better their business online without spending any money.

The events are proving to be extremely popular. The Creation Lab sees it as a fantastic way to build up its reputation in the South East as a selfless company and there are frequently representatives from companies and not-for-profit organisations turning up at the workshops, benefitting from the shared knowledge.

Looking after the staff is important and the company holds creative days, which entail one day out the office each quarter, for team-bonding activities and company brainstorming. This is an opportunity for everyone to understand each other’s roles and workloads and also appreciate one another’s skills and opinions.
