A man who was seen apparently being kicked in the head but then disappeared has been found.
The man was attacked as he lay on the ground in Dartford High Street, and police were "extremely concerned" as they did not know what had happened to him and feared he may have suffered a serious injury and need medical help.
CCTV operators caught on camera the man apparently being assaulted as he lay on the ground at 2.07am on Saturday. It followed a disturbance in the High Street.
Despite numerous efforts to track him down, including checks with local hospitals, he remained missing.
However, police have now confirmed officers have located the man. He is "safe, well and not seriously injured".
A suspect was arrested but has been released on bail until September 2.
Police are still appealing for witnesses. Call 01474 366149 quoting 46/137862/20.
