More traffic misery at the Dartford Crossing as congestion brings A282 to a standstill

Motorists experienced another afternoon of traffic misery at the Dartford Crossing.
Vehicles were earlier moving extremely slowly on the A282 anti-clockwise heading towards the crossing, between junction three and the tunnel.
The congestion came after lane one of the crossing was closed because a car had to have a tyre changed at just before 3.30pm. All lanes are now open as normal.
But an accident involving a car and a lorry didn't help rush hour traffic. All lanes have now reopened after this crash.
