Police close Keyes Road, Dartford after 'noxious substance' attack on people in car

Three people have been taken to hospital after an assault with a "noxious substance" in Dartford.

Police were called to Keyes Road after the attack on a car by two men riding a motorbike at about 3.40pm today.

A police spokesman said the noxious substance, which was confirmed to be a liquid, was thrown in the direction of the car.

The driver of the car, a man, was taken to hospital, along with a passenger and a member of the public who was close the vehicle. One person has been discharged.

Keyes Road and Henderson Drive, near the Tesco Express, were cordoned off while police investigated. The cordon was lifted at about 8pm.

The spokesman said all those involved, including the suspects, were male.

He added: "It is being treated as an isolated incident.

"Enquiries are ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting reference 03-1016."
